After the release of the film ‘KGF Chapter 1’ in the year 2018, the film ‘KGF Chapter 2’ has crossed the total earning of Rs 150 crores while raining notes at the box office. This is the most successful film of Kannada cinema.
The Telugu and Tamil versions of the film ‘KGF Chapter 2’ were also not far behind in terms of earnings. The Telugu version of the film also touched the Rs 125 crore mark on Monday itself.
In terms of earnings, the Tamil version of the film ‘KGF Chapter 2’ was lagging behind, it has also touched the total earning of Rs 100 crores while participating in the box office race.
With this, the film ‘KGF Chapter 2’ has become the first Indian film to earn Rs 100 crore or more in four major languages of the country.
Before the film ‘KGF Chapter 2’, the record of earning Rs 100 crore or more in most languages has been held by the film ‘Bahubali 2’. Apart from its native language Telugu, it achieved this feat in Tamil and Hindi after its release in the year 2018.
The film was not even dubbed in the Kannada language, had it been so, experts say that the film would have been successful in achieving this feat even there.
